For Cervical Cancer Prevention Week in January 2023, Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust launched their biggest ever campaign #WeCan, calling for action to end cervical cancer.

Jo’s corresponding report ‘We Can End Cervical Cancer’ set out the opportunities and challenges the UK faces in ending cervical cancer and called on the UK government to commit to elimination.

We were delighted to be asked to design the digital report for the launch of the campaign. The report needed to tie in with the campaign graphics while keeping within Jo’s brand guidelines, be accessible, interactive, and tagged for screen readers.

Our designs kept it simple, as there were many references and endnotes which needed to be interactive and link to external sources. We illustrated key information using maps and graphs, all tagged with alt text and sources. Statistics were pulled from the text, and we ensured that it was clear which quotes came from survey respondents and which from other sources.
